Walk into a run-of the mill gym and witness a whole lot of people aimlessly curling a 5-lb dumbbell. Ever wonder what they’re thinking? Possibly about what they’ll stir up for dinner? Or maybe they’re mentally preparing for their meeting later that afternoon. What’s obvious is that they are not at all thinking about why they’re there, what they are aiming for that minute, or how what they are doing is affecting them (or not.)
Walk into DKB and witness a room full of people swinging very heavy weights, cleaning and pressing real iron, and tossing medicine balls and whipping ropes with an intention that’s difficult to imagine. And loving every minute of it.
