DKB does not put Membership Passes on hold: once you sign up for a Membership Pass, you are a member until you cancel your membership. We also don't recommend switching between a Membership Pass and a 10-Card for the occasional vacation you take. We've noted that our members generally replace the time they spend away with added classes before and after the trip to prepare and re-adjust. Plus, the 10 Card is often more costly than the Membership Pass, so most members have found that the actions necessary to make the switch are not worth the negligible results gained. However, if you will be gone for an extended time (ie, your trip will affect your attendance over multiple months), and you're near the end of your pay period, you might choose to switch to a 10 card. To do this, see "To switch to a 10 Card from a Membership Pass". Please include all details in your cancellation notice and let us know if you intend to switch back to a Membership Pass once you complete your 10 Card.
